This page shows a systems modelling simulation, generated by The Whole Systems Partnership Ltd. The simulation reflects two scenarios highlighted in the Mental Health and Wellbeing Commissioning Pack Cost Consequence Tool. It is recommended that people review the following support materials to understand the nature and workings of the simulation tool.

I currently work for a CCG and would love to try the simulation model but it doesn’t seem to be working. Please can someone check on the model in the link and see if it can be tweaked to make it work as i am sure it will be of interest to many other commissioners..
Hi Letsie,
The model is working but may require a Flash plug-in to display correctly in your web browser. I am using Firefox (v19.0.2) and Safari (v6.03) and it works fine for me. What web broswer are you using?
Once the simlutaion displays correctly you need to make changes to the assumptions in the underlying the model to see changes to the model when it runs
To make changes to the assumptions of Scenario 1: increasing community input
To make changes to the assumptions of Scenario 2: reducing inpatient capacity and developing intensive community support
I hope that this helps.

I too would love to be able to use this tool, but can’t seem to make it work. I have Flash and have tried firefox, but to no avail. All I can see is a blank blue square. Could you have another look at it?
I work in public health and it looks such a useful model.
Hi Jane,
The source .swf file has been moved from a 3rd party server. We will do our best to restore the simulation next week.

Hi Jane,
We have now restored the simulation. This is working well using the instructions above.
